Slow and dangerous

Slow and dangerous

I know that driving slowly theoretically improves your safety and the safety of others, but let me ask you something: in this unbelievably dynamic and fast-moving world that we live in, who has the time and nerves to drive slowly. My old uncle always tells me to keep the speed limit and never to break the road rules, but I guess that if you are someone like me, who spends more time on the road than in his own house, it is simply inevitable to break the rules. Anyways, I am just coming from a long drive and I want to share with you-my readers- something that nearly cost me my life. So…, I was speeding on the M1, trying to get my cargo delivered to the Leeds bio diesel supplier on time, when suddenly a black VW Golfs made an unexpected move to the right. At that time, I was tuning in the new radio I got for my truck-mp3,DVD a really nice piece of tech. Anyways, the point is that I was distracted for a bit and when I moved my eyes back on the road, I suddenly glimpsed this VW golf, driving with at least 30mph slower than me. I immediately hit the brakes but then the truck started to wobble, my vision suddenly became blurred and I thought that I was going to hit that VW and make a huge mess on the motorway. Everything was moving very slowly, like I was watching it on a slow-motion video. After a few blinks I saw that the VW was on a safe distance from me and that my hands were shaking like leaves. I managed to take a deep breath and continue with my journey. One more story to write down on my blog, I said to myself.
