Bad Mood Boosts By ’Bad Driver Alert'Antenna

Not all the time I spend on the road finds me in a good mood. A particularly frustrating client meeting or an irate and unreasonable boss often leaves me in a bad mood. I make it a point to be very careful when driving in a bad mood. Crashing into the guy in front of me just because my boss yelled at me does not make sense. However, my bad mood fine tunes my sense of identifying mistakes that other drivers make.

Driving and talking on the cell phone simultaneously is the worst irritant. The individual driving with just one hand on the wheel will obviously have poor reflexes. Further, bulk of the attention is away from the road and on the conversation. Thirdly, such individuals never bother to drive on the side. They always insist on driving in the middle of the road blocking the way for others for no fault of theirs. Repeatedly hitting the horn is of no use.

I come close to losing my temper when such an individual finally moves aside only to glare me for my rude honking. I often wish VW leasing agreements clearly specified that a driver who uses the cell phone when driving is a moron.

Another dangerous type of driver is the one who drifts from one end of the road to another without any regard for other drivers. They do it for no rhyme or reason. I prefer overtaking such persons and stay ahead to avoid paying for their bad driving.
